Wreaths Across America
December 14, 2024, 8:30 AM - 1:30 PM (America/Chicago)
We are providing service wreath escorts again this year, as well as setup and breakdown assistance for Wreaths Across America at the Alabama National Cemetery.
If you have a full set of blues, including a blues jacket, please consider serving as an escort. This team will serve during the ceremony.
If you do not have a blues jacket, please consider serving on the setup and breakdown team in your ABUs. This team will help distribute wreaths for the community to place as well as help the cemetery staff breakdown the ceremony area. While you are welcome to wear your blues to serve on the setup team, the wreaths may leave you with sap on them, so ABUs are allowed and recommended.
Report to the Support Committee Storage Building:
Parents, siblings and others are invited to join the audience for the ceremony that will begin at 11am.
All are encouraged to assist with breakdown, including collecting and storing folding chairs.
