Remember to be reading pages 10-13 of the Model Rocketry book for the Redstone Exam coming up.
Also, attendance matters for AE meetings. There is a slim chance of any make-up rocket building, so make sure you attend every meeting to achieve the Rocketry Badge.

ALL CADETS, whether in ABUs or OCPs, must check their patches to make sure they are in accordance with regulations. All corrections must be made within the next 30 days. This includes wearing the correct wing patch, our new squadron patch, and the proper name/CAP tapes. Please direct any uniform questions you may have to your flight staff. Registration for the ALWG 2026 Summer Encampment Cadre Selection Weekend is now open. This event will be held at Maxwell AFB from 20-22 March with a registration deadline of 08 March. The cadre for the ALWG 2026 Summer Encampment will be selected during this weekend. This event is open to all members who have completed at least 1 encampment. See Capt. Johnson's email to register.

On 21 February, we're partnering with Tuscaloosa squadron for a hands-on Emergency Services skills training day. We plan for you to be able to complete tasks toward earning qualifications for ICUT, Ground Team Member 3, and possibly more. The first step is to confirm you have completed GES 116 in Absorb. Registration for the 2026 ALWG Conference is now open. It will take place from 24-26 April and will be held at Gulf Shores, Alabama. See Col. Williams’ or 1st Lt McClanahan’s email or Registration Zone to register.

Applications for NESA are still open. This is a 1-2 weeklong emergency services training NCSA. See the email, Registration Zone, or the NESA website to register. Deadline will be May 15.
