Girl Scout Leadership Summit 2023

The Girl Scout Leadership Summit is a day-long conference - just for girls and led by girls – to help provide them an opportunity to investigate and explore professional careers, connect with mentors, and focus on leadership development. This is our largest program event with 500+ girls (4^th -12^th grade), mentors, and volunteers coming in town from all over north-central Alabama to participate. 

The Hall of Experiences is set up much like an exhibit hall at a conference. It offers an exciting opportunity to promote CAP ’s mission while engaging with hundreds of girls in 4th -12th grades. The girls learn through interactive demonstrations and short activities provided by exhibitors as well as learn about various career paths and ways they can get involved in their communities- whether it be service projects, volunteering or just for fun!  

The 2023 theme for the Girl Scout Leadership Summit honors civics engagement to help girls foster the skills and confidence needed to make positive and sustainable changes in their lives, their communities, and their country. By enabling girls and young women to be responsible citizens, we prepare them to take a stand and act on behalf of themselves and others.
